WHAT IS E-DESIGN? E-design is a professional online interior design service that is an affordable alternative to traditional interior design. Visit our "How it Works" page to see how easy it is. -- Once your design package has been purchased, you will be able to follow along the process of your personalized design. You will receive an email with a direct link to create a private account where you will be able to comment and stay in touch with your designer. If you do not see our emails in your Inbox, please add our email address (info@judithdesign.ca) to your contact list to prevent our emails from ending up in your Junk Email folder.


HOW LONG DOES A PROJECT TAKE? Once we have received all essential project details (style preferences, dimensions, room images, budget limit, etc.), the design process will take (business days):
- Paint Color: 1-3 days
- Window treatments: 5-7 days
- Room Makeover; Space Planning; Finishing Touches; Material and Finishes: 1-2 weeks
- Renovation and Remodel (Kitchen, Bathroom): 2-4 weeks

Please note that we take on a limited number of projects each month. If your project is ultra-urgent, please contact us about availability before purchasing your design package.


IS MY BUDGET REASONABLE? We work with all kinds of budgets and will always make the best use of it.


CAN I OFFER A PACKAGE AS A GIFT? You can offer as many packages as you want to the person of your choice.


FURNITURE AND DECOR: We have access to nearly one million different products from a variety of vendors. When filling out the questionnaire, you'll notice that you also have the option to tell us what your favorite furniture and decor stores are. You will also be able to let us know which existing furniture or decor pieces you want to keep.


REVISIONS: All our design packages allow between 1 to 2 rounds of revisions within 14 days after the final delivery of your project.


CANCELLATION AND REFUND: The initial phone call is the start of your project, consequently it is not possible to obtain a refund as soon as the phone call takes place.


RENOVATIONS AND REMODEL: Plans, notes (general, demolition, construction), legends, schedules and all other important information will be provided with the delivery of the final concept.


TAKING MEASUREMENTS: We will use the measurements, pictures you supply and your responses to the questionnaire to create a personalized design of your space. Our questionnaire will guide you on how to measure and photograph a room. An additional how-to measure guide will be emailed to you if your project is for a remodel, a renovation or for window treatments. We cannot be held responsible if you have provided incorrect information.


SHOPPING, SPECIAL ORDERS, AVAILABILITY AND DELIVERY: Shopping by the client: The client can shop using the links provided by the designer. Shopping by the designer: 100% deposit is required for all purchases by the designer. The designer is not obliged to find the cheapest items or to reimburse the customer if she/he finds cheaper items. Custom-made cannot be exchanged, cancelled or refunded. The designer is not responsible for price changes, stock shortages, delivery delays that may occur. Delivery: Transportation and handling costs are at the customer's charge.


READY-MADE DESIGN BOARDS: Once your order has been confirmed, you will receive within 1-8 hours (during business days) an email with a direct link to access your order. If you do not see the email in your Inbox, please add our email address (info@judithdesign.ca) to your contact list to prevent our emails from ending up in your Junk Email folder.

When you purchase the specifications for a single product, an email will be sent to you asking to indicate the product.

All Ready-Made design boards shopping lists include furniture and decor only. Window treatments are not included but can be added by selecting your preferred package on the "Packages & Pricing" page. Building materials, for example, flooring, windows, doors, wall paneling, tiles, fireplaces are not included, but may be shown on the Ready-Made design board to help you complete the look. -- We advise you to carefully measure your space before ordering the products to ensure that you have enough space. -- Ready-Made design boards and product lists are non-refundable.

The designer does not vouch for, represent, or certify: work methods, practices or site management; the performance, quality, execution or delivery delays of the works, materials or equipment supplied by contractors, sub-contractors, consultants and other people assigned to the project. The designer will not be responsible for any kind of loss or damage.


INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS: All plans, drawings, models, quotes, perspectives or other service instruments prepared by the interior designer are and remain the property of the interior designer, whether the project is carried out or not, and may not be used for other projects, unless the interior designer has given written consent and has been paid for it.


PAYMENT METHODS: We accept all major credit cards. We also accept Interac e-Transfer; if you wish to use this payment method, we ask you to communicate with us first.
